I couldn't be more please with the artificial turf installation I received from the Global Syn Turf dealer here in Philadelphia. This company went way beyond my expectations when it came to the service, professionalism, and workmanship. I called Global Syn Turf off of their website and the representative called me back within 30 minutes. He told me they were one of the worlds largest manufactures of artificial turfing the world and sold exclusively through their dealer network. He referred me to the dealer here in Philadelphia and they were very responsive and professional. This company came to their first estimate consultation and called me to let me know they were running 5 minutes late. This impressed me right away that they would call me and let me know they were running just 5 minutes late. This is the kind of service and detail that I would expect from a company. They came to my house and gave me so much information about the process and detail of the installation and how to save money in the installation process. I ended up choosing the S Blade 90 manufactured by Global Syn Turf, one of the largest manufactures in the world. It is good to know you are getting artificial turf from the manufacturer and not some middle man like so many other companies. I now have my artificial turf installed and hold a 15 year manufacture's warranty directly from the manufacture themselves. 5 Stars to all...............

I want to thank Global Syn Turf and give them a 5 Star rating for being a great and elite artificial turf manufacturer and distributor. First, Global Syn Turf has the best website that is very forth coming. Not many companies post copies of all their spec sheets and turf tests. Secondly they have so many great tools for the end user. One tool the lady on the phone a Global Syn Turf helped me with is the Instant Lawn Size Checker. I was trying figure out how much it would cost to have artificial turf installed and the lady on the phone asked what the square footage was of my yard. I told her I had no idea what the square footage was. She took me to the "Instant Lawn Checker App" on the website and it actually used satellite photos and a measuring tool to come up with the grass area in my backyard square footage of 848 sq. ft. From their she took me to the "Installation Cost" app on the website that you can plug in your square footage and come up with a cost of all materials and labor. Then she showed me another app on the website called the "Cost and Savings" app which estimates how much I am going to save on water and not having a gardener. She then asked if I was going to install it myself or if I needed an installer. I told her I needed and installer and she gave me the name and numbers of three Global Syn Turf Distributors in my city. I called them all and had them come to my house to give me a free no obligation quote to have Global Syn Turf artificial grass installed in my backyard. I want to tell everyone Global Syn Turf is one of the good companies and would recommend them to anyone.

I referred to Global Syn Turf from a neighbor of mine in Philadelphia who had artificial turf installed in their backyard. My neighbor was very happy with the artificial turf that Global Syn Turf manufacturers and the 15 year manufacturer's warranty. He also told me he was referred an installation company that specializes in synthetic grass installations. I called them up and asked for a free estimate. They showed up 3 days later with samples of artificial turf for us to keep and review. They measured my yard and gave me a no obligation estimate for installation. They gave me some great ideas for my yard and how to install the yard, upgrade my landscaping and save me money in the process. My wife and I decided to go with the S Blade 50 artificial turf and gave a deposit to the installation company. One week later they started the installation which took four days. They were professional and tidy and did a great job on the installation. My new no maintenance yard looks amazing. I want to thank my neighbor, Global Syn Turf and the local install company that installed my yard.
Grass lawns' notion being installed at a house front and back yards originated from England where the weather is quite accommodating to grow and preserve natural grass. Here in particular states that are dry, such thought only won't fly! In cities located in desert regions for example Las Vegas, Nevada, Arizona and Phoenix, natural grass that is growing is extremely difficult. People are tired of plain and boring cement or rockery appearance and lots of desert scape notions will not meet most homeowners' desire for "green". Artificial grass supplies a perfect alternative in such situations. As an industry, artificial grass is not too new, it has existed for more than five decades. However, to the public, synthetic grass looks quite new.
"What? Unreal grass? Seriously? Imitation?" Don't scorn. Synthetic turf is moving beyond football fields and golf courses to be common in home landscapes. When Steve Wallace of Santa Monica, California went for synthetic lawn, he decided for long blades and a dark green color a look he couldn't achieve with his lawn before, which on hot summer days (one hundred degrees or more) turned to dust, and on rainy days turned into a mud pit. Tired of re-sodding two times a year not to mention the endless watering and mowing the 43-year-old homeowner was extremely happy to plunk down $5,000 to see installers peel away his old lawn. Now, he says, two little kids and his two dogs can romp and roll around without enduring the plastic rug burn of yore, or tearing up the turf. And maybe best of all is how grassy it looks.
"People have to go up close to it, he says, before they say, Wow, this isn't real.
Makers credit the new "you coulda fooled me" look to the marvels of science. Global Syn-Turf's Dave Maronic, for one, tends to lapse into sports car speak when describing the "blend of aesthetics and functionality" offered by the firm's latest creation, a compact grass it calls Double W series, which contains such space age-seeming attributes as "Double W shaped blades" and "No-shine technology." The initial price on synthetic turf is higher than natural grass, but given the fact of most of synthetic grass will last at least from eight to ten years, such investment nonetheless makes sense for most homeowners, particularly those live in "desert cities".

Resale Value: While synthetic turf can improve the aesthetic of a property, it may also increase resale value, not in the same way that natural lawns can, but with saving opportunities and grown popularity of synthetic lawns in recent year in West Chester, Pennsylvania, it may attract homebuyers who likes the budget-saving, always-green, no-maintenance idea.
Overall, synthetic turf can save money in the long run, but the upfront costs should be carefully considered before making a decision.

As far as artificial grass lawns go, East Coast and Midwest is at least five years behind west coast, and the rest of the country is even further behind. Why? The western states are either in a desert zone, like Arizona and Nevada, or in a drought, like California. Drought and desert climate have been the main driving force of the artificial lawns market in western states. On the east coast along with the rest of the country, to a lot of synthetic lawn installation companies, it is all about educating and informing individuals and the public of what is available. Most just do not know, mind sets on the east coast goes back to grand-mother's front porch products, just do not know unless you are in the industry. Companies need to inform their staff, rather than sales, educate and inform the sale with be the by-product. The market potential for artificial lawns in West Chester, Pennsylvania is huge and the sky is the limit on the opportunities.
Water conservation in West Chester, Pennsylvania can be a concern in many east coast states and anywhere else. Climate changes like longer and colder winters and the fact of ground water being contaminated in a futile attempt to keep fragile natural grass alive and gas powered mowers putting out more carbon monoxide than our automobiles, our uninformed consuming public needs to listen and take heed to what synthetic grass can do to help our environment with demonstrative Green Benefits and beautification of landscape as a real solution. Leading artificial grass manufacturers, like Global Syn-Turf, Inc. has been very passionate about their amazing products and continue to educate the uninformed media and general public at every opportunity. The company believes the artificial grass industry will continue its growth at a rapid pace nationwide for a number of reasons, the time element regarding maintenance, the flexibility of the product range particularly where there are access or climate-related issues and the fact that once it's down you have 'instant green' - surely a factor for a lot of folks in these busy times.
Backyard putting greens are a popular addition to outdoor spaces for golf enthusiasts or anyone who enjoys the game of golf. Here are a few things to consider when installing a backyard putting green:
More than eighty percent of people in West Chester, Pennsylvania who are thinking about artificial grass are dog owners! Why? Most dogs could have an area in the lawn that they choose to use when they relieve themselves, that will ruin the nature grass and creating horrible appearing brown spots, before synthetic grass, there's virtually no real options for this problem. Artificial turf in general, empties well and pet messes can be cleaned up readily. Leading artificial grass manufacturers like Global Syn-Turf, Inc., has developed pet grass with unique features including a knitted flow-through backing, lasting blades and antimicrobial protection. Such premium products are becoming the surfacing choice that was ideal for pet facilities, dog parks and kennels, dog boarding, and vet clinics, both inside and out. "We all adore our dogs, provide them with the greatest: low care and long lasting artificial grass!" - said Dave Maronic, the vice president of Global Syn-Turf, Inc.
When it comes to a playground application in West Chester, Pennsylvania, what is the most important concern? Safety! We want our kids to play on the most safe surface possible when playing in a playground. Artificial grass installed over a proper base can provide an ASTM safety rating for fall heights up to 12 feet which is a standard natural grass never can achieve! A properly certified turf should also have a soft, consistent surface that is ADA accessible for easy wheelchair access. Since the grass wont displace like loose fill such as sand, rubber chips, or wood chips, the safety rating is easy to maintain at all times, even under play equipment. The synthetic grass on the market today provides an extremely natural appearance. Those who have seen the latest products are often surprised at how real it looks. Kids stay cleaner when they play on a synthetic grass surface. There's no sand or other loose fill to get in the kids clothes, hair, eyes, or mouth. Some synthetic grass products are designed with built-in antimicrobial agents to help protect against bacteria and other microbes.
Artificial grass unique longevity and low maintenance can fit almost all budgets of a playground project. Based on a joint survey by Los Angeles Times and Sacramento Bee, Synthetic grass for playgrounds lasts longer and usually costs less than pour-in-place surfaces. While pour-in-place generally needs repairs after about five years, the functional longevity of artificial grass is closer to eight years or more. Synthetic grass systems designed specifically for playgrounds can offer a warranty of up to eight years, with little noticeable fading even in extreme temperatures. Repairs on pour-in-place surfaces are often costly and unattractive. With synthetic grass, repairs are much less frequent, and when they are done they are virtually unnoticeable.
Artificial grass is more durable than organic grass and may be used without the rest intervals that organic lawn requires to maintain the grass healthy. For example, the New York Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) quotes that on an annual basis, let use (hours per year) for synthetic turf sports fields is 28-percent greater than for grass fields that are natural. Synthetic turf's care prices will change depending on the use and design of the field, but are normally believed to be lower compared to the maintenance costs of organic grass. Normal grass requires fertilizer application, standard cutting, insect control and potentially sprinkling. Artificial grass needs repairing stitches replacing in-fill materials and eliminating weeds and moss moss. Specialized equipment, which may or may not be contained in the purchase cost of the area, is needed for these activities.

The blades of sport field artificial lawn products are at least 2-1/4" tall which supply room enough for infills. The aim of having infills in sport fields is to provide enough cushioning for the fields hence to reduce the risks of human anatomy harms. Sand combination and crumb rubber can serve such purpose very well. Crumb rubber is made by grinding used wheels. Steel and fiber fatigue parts are eliminated during the procedure and the rubber pellets are sorted by size. Pellet sizes starting from about one sixteenth to one quarter inch in size are applied to synthetic turf. Crumb rubber is commonly applied at a rate of 2-3 pounds per square foot of area surface. Studies have already been conducted from the California Environment Protection Agency Office of Environmental Health Hazard Evaluation and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health to assess the potential for consumption exposure to the chemicals in crumb rubber by youngsters playing on synthetic turf. Both studies concluded that health hazards to children resulting from the ingestion of crumb rubber are not high.

Again, although the available info on crumb rubber and crumb rubber in-filled turf fields indicates that intake, skin or inhalation exposures to compounds in or discharged from crumb rubber do not introduce a significant public health concern, leading artificial grass businesses including Global Syn-Turf, Inc. was operating on new technologies and methods to get rid of the rubbers and take the synthetic grass sport areas applications to a new "All Green" level.

Most synthetic turf products require infills which to be installed onto the grass between blades to help the blades of grass stand up and also hold the turf down. In addition, it protects the grass backing from ultraviolet rays that could cause damage and void guarantees. Some artificial grass infill options are ZeoFill, Green sand, Copper slag, Silica Sand and Rubber. Among all, ZeoFill is the choice for synthetic turf infill for playgrounds and pet owners. Dog owners with artificial grass lawns have been struggled with urine smells for years.. Many individuals want to water down their turf one time a week to get rid of the smell but never worked correctly because water from a hose does not have enough force to shove bacteria deep into the earth. ZeoFill is made out of a natural resource from the earth that is a negatively charged honey combed molecular structure that prevents the ammonia from forming a gas to become smelly and absorbs the urine. ZeoFill pulls any gases towards itself and hold it until sodium ion (Na ) in rain water releases the magnetivity and the force of heavy rainfall will flush out the bacteria, compelling it through the turf into the earth making your turf virtually new again. The sodium forces the calcium ions out and recharges the ZeoFill when dry. Nevertheless, ZeoFill will not remove bacteria that are poor. To remove poor bacteria, Global Syn-Turf, Inc. recommends nits very own Synthetic Grass Pet Odor Neutralizer, this enzyme products will not just neutralize the pet odor, but also remove poor bacteria and clean the turf, using this along with Zeofill will realize the best possible results on pet's odor control!
The ZeoFill granule will hold the ammonia water until it is cleaned out the ZeoFill with the enzyme solution or significant rainwater flushes. The ZeoFill granules will be trapped inside the turf system and contains a 5 year warranty on deterioration.
