I've seen a lot of players get injured in the field, is it because of the turf?

When an artificial grass sport field done properly and strictly followed all specifications, chances of getting injured while playing on them is minimized. We like to call artificial grass sport fields a system. Yes, all you can see of sport fields are artificial grass, but that is only 25% of the system. Artificial grass alone won't make a sport field, or not a functional one. A lot of factors needs to be taken into considerations while design and install a sport field with artificial grass:

First, you need to make sure the grass is made with durable fibers which can withhold a lot of wear and tears.

Second,. you need to make sure the field is build with sufficient drainage system for water to dissipate quickly.

Third and more importantly, you need to have the field build with enough cushioning to take falls. We have a term for this: GMax ratings. All turf field should be tested and able to produce acceptable Gmax ratings, which means when players fall on it, they won't get hurt.

Finally, all turf products need to be tested on abrasiveness so when players slides on the artificial grass surfaces, they won't get hurt.

Again, should people take into considerations of all the aspects of injury potentials, and the fields are built by experienced professionals, the sport injury on artificial turf fields should be very minimum.

It would be unfair to think that the turf caused those injuries. Sports require movements, and movements alone could cause an injury.
I'm sure the experts installed the artificial grass that is resistant to injury for players. So that's not the one to blame.
I saw some branded shoes that is artificial-grass resistant players can use.
