Does the turf golfing green need weed barrier?

That is a good question. Weed barrier is used only for areas that have weed problems, and it is very rare for weed to grow through the drainage holes of our artificial putting greens, and it is not common at all that weed will grow on top of the greens. By that said, most of putting green installations won’t include weed barriers. However if weeds are your top concerns and for a little extra, having weed barrier installed is not necessarily a bad idea.
