Yes, there are always water rebates programs available for homeowners in California for replacing their thirsty grass lawns with artificial grass. However, such programs are offered differently from different water districts, some offers more money than others, so the best way to approach this is to find out specially what your water agency’s offer by contacting them or visits their website. Here is an example of what you can find on the internet: http://www.saveourwaterrebates.com/turf-replacement-rebates.html.

When artificial grass is installed properly, even without infills, it won’t have wrinkles. The trick is to make sure installing your turf on a rather warm day, have it “relax” under the sun for an hour or so. And when installing the turf, make sure to use carpet knee stretcher to stretch the turf (this is very similar to how carpet being stretched or installed). You will find the basic artificial grass installation guide on our website: https://www.globalsynturf.com/installation-guides. Also, the YouTube channel covers a lot of installation tricks and techniques: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhiMWU7Avyvd594wAqCt_g

Not at all. I am not sure why you feel that way, the higher quality artificial grass normally consists of the following factors: Higher face weight, more complicated fibers combinations, unique fiber technologies and difficulty level of manufacturing. Therefore, it is almost irrelevant between the turf quality and the hand feel of an artificial grass product. Even tough some of the turf products might feel a bit rougher than others, but under the sun in a normal day, they all feel pretty comfortable to the touch; and soft fibers can become a bit rougher during cold weathers as well. Not at all. It depends how often you use your artificial putting greens, you should expect normal wear and tear given consistent traffic on it. However, overtime, your green will be matted down more and actually become smoother. A typical artificial putting green will last your at least eight or ten years if not more under normal use. You can find our installation guide at this link which covers on how to build the sub base in detail: https://www.globalsynturf.com/installation-guides. After you excavated the soil, you will need to have some drain rock at about 2” or 2-1/2” thickness, compact it at 90%, then used about 1-1/2” decomposed granite on top of the drain rock and also compacted to 90%, at this point, your sub base surface should be solid and smooth enough to lay turf on top of it. You can also find a lot of helpful installation techniques from this YouTube videos channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhiMWU7Avyvd594wAqCt_g. We have never had any complaints about our artificial grass products being allergic to either human or pets. Turf is made of polyethylene and polypropylene which essentially is plastic, like many plastic products on the market such as water bottles and food containers, turf is known for its characters of non-harmful and environmentally friendly to be recycled. You definitely can have a peace of mind having our artificial grass products installed and be perfectly safe for your kids to play on. You can find all our testing certificates for each of our product at this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/artificial-grass-specifications-specs, and please let us know if you have any other questions by phone (877 796 8873) or email ([email protected]) or this online form: https://www.globalsynturf.com/free-quote, thank you.

You don’t have to really level your area to install artificial grass. Two key preparations you have to do is to build a good sub base and to make the top section of sub base as smooth as possible. If you have slopes, you don’t have to level it which can be a big project by itself, you can install turf on sloped areas, again, you need to make sure the sub base to be built properly regardless the area is leveled or sloped. To get a general idea of installations, please visit this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/installation-guides

For artificial grass installations, the only time that you will need wired mesh is if you have a gopher problem in your area. Gopher can dig under the turf and create issues for your turf surface, so if you have gopher issues in your area, we will recommend you to use gopher wire under the sub base to prevent them digging through the sub base and causing uneven problems for your artificial grass surface. If you don’t have any gopher issues, the gopher wire won’t be required. Please also note that the gopher wire is not exactly the same as normal wire mesh, it has much stronger gauge and works better for gophers or any small animals. Theoretically, if the tufting gauge remains the same, the higher the face weight, the higher of the stitch rate for most of the artificial grass products. So all of our 90 oz or above turf products, the stitch rate is at or over 20. To learn more about the stitch rate on each individual turf product, you can visit this link, click on the product name, a specification page will show with stitch rate data on it: https://www.globalsynturf.com/artificial-grass-specifications-specs

We don’t offer any of the bulk products that used for artificial grass sub base. People normally get such bulk products from local landscape products suppliers. As far as I know that some installers use the top soil for the top layer of the turf sub base buildup which goes underneath the turf. The typical sub base installation has two layers: drain rock and decomposed granite or sometimes top soil which needs to be coarse enough for drainage purpose, too fine of the top soil can be too dense to drain water properly.

You will need to pick and choose the color and design before you order them, it is just like when you order your artificial grass or putting greens. At the time of your ordering any products from one of our distributors/dealers, you would like to either check out the samples or pictures/specs and find the products you like, then placing the order. I don’t think any companies will be able to process your order without knowing the exact product including golf cup flags. Please feel free to contact us by phone (877 796 8873), or email ([email protected]), or simply fill out this online form, thank you: https://www.globalsynturf.com/free-quote

Well, the most common edging finishes for artificial putting greens are artificial grass fringes. It depends on the area of your putting greens, you might want to design it with proper sized putting area with some regular artificial turf products around it as fringes, in such application, it can be a bit complicated for preparations and installations, I will suggest you to check out this YouTube channel for all the putting green installation details: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhiMWU7Avyvd594wAqCt_g
