I want to thank Global Syn Turf for rushing and Order of the t-cool infill to my job site in Boston Massachusetts. I had ordered the turtle from them sometime ago and the lady finally called me up and said she wanted the job installed ASAP before she had a party the following weekend. She also changed her mind and said now she wants the t-cool in feel so I called Global Syn Turf and spoke with Carla over the phone. She was very kind and accommodating understanding my sense of urgency that the order needed to be placed today and put on a truck that afternoon. She rushed the order through and send it to the Jacksonville Florida Warehouse where they loaded it on a truck that day and a couple of days later the t-cool and Phil arrived. I ended up getting the job installed in time and the lady my customer was very very happy. She said the party went off with a great success and everyone loved the turf. She handed out my business card to several different people and one of them already called and wanted an estimate for their yard. I have been shopping artificial grass companies and quality artificial turf.  I made relentless telephone calls and did a lot of research online.  I narrowed my choice down to 3 companies based on a list of qualifications.  I was looking for a reputable company that had references and quality products.  At the end of the day my choice was Global Syn Turf for their Flo-Rite-Thru Pet Turf Technology.  The artificial turf is for my dog and I wanted the artificial turf to have superior drainage.  The Global Syn Turf Pet Turf has their patented Flo-Rite-Thru drainage at 121 inches per hour.  That is a lot of drainage and a lot more than all the other companies I researched.  It is imperative the pet urine drains down through the artificial turf and into the natural soils.  If the turf doesn't drain well you won't get this result.  The other thing I learned from Global Syn Turf is how to properly maintain artificial turf with pets.  Artificial Turf is labeled as low maintenance or no maintenance, however with Pets you need to provide frequent maintenance.  First and foremost you need to use water to rinse the artificial turf to help flush any and all dog urine through the turf down to the natural soil.  Secondly and equally important you need to use a enzyme based anti microbial anti bacterial Pet Deodorizer.  Don't dilute the deodorize but spray it directly on the turf, don't skimp, let it soak for a few hours and then rinse very very well.  If the odor smell still isn't gone then repeat the process.  None of this will hurt or discolor the grass in anyway.  I want to thank Global Syn Turf for their help to get turf.

Why Choose Artificial Grass

The thought of grass lawns being installed at a house' front and back yards originated from England where the weather is quite accommodating to grow and maintain natural grass. Here in particular states that are dry, such notion simply won't fly! In cities situated in desert regions for example Las Vegas, Nevada, Arizona and Phoenix, growing grass that is natural is nearly impossible. Artificial grass provides an ideal solution in such scenarios. As an industry, artificial grass is not that new, it has been around for more than five decades. Nevertheless, to the general public, synthetic grass appears very new.

"What? Unnatural grass? Give me a break!" Actually? Fake grass, you say? Are you joking? Synthetic turf is moving beyond golf courses and football fields in Farm Hill, Massachusetts to become more common in home landscapes. When Steve Wallace of Santa Monica, California went for synthetic, he opted for longer blades and a darker green color a look he could never achieve with his natural lawn, which on 100-plus-degree summer days turned to dust, and on rainy days a mud pit. Tired of re-sodding twice a year not to mention the endless mowing and watering the 43-year-old homeowner was more than happy to plunk down $5,000 to see installers peel away his old lawn. Now, he says, two little children and his two dogs can romp and roll without tearing up the turf, or enduring the plastic rug burn of yore. And perhaps best of all is grassy it appears.

People have to go up close to it, he says, before they say, Wow, this isn't real.

Producers credit the new "you coulda fooled me" look to the marvels of science. Global Syn-Turf's Maronic, for one, tends to lapse into sportscar speak when describing the "combination of aesthetics and functionality" offered by the company's latest creation, a dense grass it calls Double W series, which comprises such space-age-sounding attributes as "Double W shaped blades" and "No-glow technology." The initial cost on artificial grass is higher than natural grass, but given the fact of most of synthetic grass will continue at least 8-10 years, such investment nonetheless makes lots of sense for most homeowners, especially those live in "desert cities".

Is Synthetic Grass Safe for Children?

A queries asked by many individuals who are considering synthetic lawn because of their homes. The answer is absolutely yes! For 40 years, under EPA supervision and OSHA- not one individual fabricating, has ever documented bad effects related to any substances associated with synthetic lawn.

In July 2010, the Connecticut Division of public-health announced that a new study of the threats to children and adults playing on artificial turf fields containing crumb rubber infill reveals "no elevated health dangers."

A December 2009 U.S. Environment Protection Agency scoping study of the health dangers from inhalation, ingestion, and dermal contact with artificial turf and crumb rubber found every evaluation result to be "below levels of concern."

The Ca EPA launched a study dated July 2009 which signified there is an insignificant individual health threat from inhaling the atmosphere above artificial lawn.

Impartial evaluations conducted from the New York State Department of Environment Conservation and New York State Division of Health, released in May 2009, proved there were no important health concerns at artificial grass fields.

Types of Infills for Artificial Grass

Most of artificial grass requires infills which to be installed onto the grass between blades to help the blades of grass stand up and also hold the turf down. It also protects the grass backing from ultraviolet rays which could eventually cause damage and void warranties. Some artificial grass infill options are ZeoFill, Green sand, TCool, Silica Sand. Among all, ZeoFill is the #1 choice for synthetic turf infill for pet owners and playgrounds. Dog owners with artificial grass lawns have been struggled with urine smells for years.. Even though some leading turf manufacturers such as Global Syn-Turf, Inc. has made antimicrobial pet turf to resist the bacterial ammonia from adhering to the turf fibers, but regular infills would still hold ammonia urine resulting in a great deal of smell. Many people are trying to water down their turf once a week to get rid of the smell but never worked properly because water from a hose does not have enough force to push bacteria deep into the ground. ZeoFill is made out of a natural resource from the earth which is a negatively charged honey-combed molecular structure that absorbs the urine like a magnet and prevents the ammonia from forming a gas to become smelly. ZeoFill pulls any gases towards itself and hold it until sodium ion (Na) in rain water releases the magnetivity and the force of heavy rainfall will flush out the bacteria, forcing it through the turf into the ground making your turf virtually new again. The sodium forces the calcium ions out and recharges the ZeoFill when dry. However, ZeoFill will not remove bad bacteria. To remove bad bacteria, Global Syn-Turf, Inc. recommends nits very own Synthetic Grass Pet Odor Neutralizer, this enzyme products will not only neutralize the pet odor, but also remove bad bacteria and clean the turf, using this along with ZeoFill will achieve the best possible results on pet's odor control!

To maximize the Benefits of ZeoFill, always install it on top of turf not under turf: When your dog urinates on the turf, the urine will instantly be consumed by the ZeoFill granules preventing ammonia bacteria particles from traveling through the turf. The ZeoFill granule will hold the ammonia water until it is cleaned with an enzyme solution or heavy rainwater flushes out the ZeoFill. The ZeoFill granules will be trapped inside the turf system and has a 5 year warranty on deterioration.
