Would like to know if Syn-Turf has been tested for fire retardation or resistance, I live in So. California where wildfires recently damaged many neighbors but one neighbor had about 150 feet of "Syn-Lawn " that Stopped these wildfires...this turf did melt in a few spots BUT did not burn < they advertise the fact it is fire tested, is Syn-Turf?

Yes, we have our turf independent tested and passes all nine levels for fire retardant. We have test sheets available from the office staff. Our turf is installed at former Angels manager Mike Scioscia house, and it had melted but turf helped stop the house from going up.

You can always find the flammability report on this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/artificial-grass-specifications-specs
Good to know, and I saw some testing results on this site.
I do BBQ on the turf all the time, and dropped flames on the turf couple of times, didn't catch on fire.
I have seen melting turf, but haven't heard any fire on turf.
You don't need to worry about our turf to catch on fire, but artificial grass is made of PE and PP so they do melt at high heat point.
Our turf won't catch on fire, but be careful about melting with window reflections.
People threw cigaret butts on my lawn before, it didn't catch fire, but left a little burn spot.
Thumb up!
Good to know.
Does your product use flame retardants in order to make it fire safe?
