Depending on the sizes of your artificial grass leftovers from your original installation, I will recommend you to keep them in a storage for future potential uses: Artificial grass is very similar to your carpet, after installation, there will be some excessive materials left, and most of homeowners will just keep them in their storage, they might never need to use them again, or to use them to patch or repair damages. If you ever damaged your artificial grass for whatever reason, you can always use the leftover materials to patch or repair the damaged area(s) without struggling to find a matched piece for the problem.

Also, some people to cut the excessive pieces for door mat or dog run, or for patio applications. Again, it all depends on how big of the pieces your have leftover with, and even you make these leftover pieces into uses as I mentioned here, you still want to keep some for your future, just in case.
