We have a very shades and always moist back yard (lots of skeeters and muddy) and tons of falling walnuts from neighbors yard. Thinking about artificial grass to help fix problem just don't whether walnuts will stain grass when black and soft.

The fibers of our artificial grass are not porous and the color is finished throughout so the black walnut won’t stain the turf. However, if you leave the walnuts for a long time period, they will make the turf surface messy which will require cleaning or rinsing. We will always recommend you to remove the walnuts on a regular basis to avoid long time messy build ups so you won’t have hard time to do the cleanings.
