Customer Service Associate - Corporate Office

The Customer Service Associate will process customer orders in an accurate and timely manner, as well as play a main role in customer service duties. This position must exercise independent judgment, have problem solving skills and possess excellent communication skills. The Customer Service Associate works closely with various departments, and is committed to teamwork.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience performing customer service functions.
  • Ability to accurately process a high volume of transactions.
  • Ability to be proactive and get things done with minimal supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and a strong team player.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi task.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Must successfully complete a background check, drug test and E-Verification.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Main Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Maximize customer experience by efficiently processing customer orders, confirmation of product availability and ship dates, and scheduling of shipments.
  • Verify all orders are correct and consistent with customer terms.
  • Respond to all customer and sales representative inquiries regarding order status, delivery, warranties, etc.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
  • Assist with the tracking of customer daily deliveries.
  • Assist with standard clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, etc.
  • Stay current with product knowledge in order to assist customers with product questions.
  • Quickly investigate and resolve customers problems and questions in a calm, professional manner.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years experience performing customer service functions.

Required Education

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $15-$ / Hour
