Have the U Blade-60 installed in front of my store about 3 years ago. I have a little hardware store in San Ramon, California, has this U 60 turf installed about 3 years ago, they have been looking good since then, people sometimes make comments on it: is it real or fake? I put them in myself, not necessarily top notch installation, but I can live with it.
I think it is a more of multipurpose turf.
I like that you wrap the turf on the step.
Nice front yard with curved design!
I think the face weight is a term for carpet, and turf people use it as well, must be made the same way as carpet.
15 years warranty on my grass.
I forgot how to mow real grass lawn. . . .
I was told by my installer: 2 lbs per sf.
I do BBQ on the turf all the time, and dropped flames on the turf couple of times, didn't catch on fire.
The 60 is thicker and a tiny bit taller.
I think the U turf is more "alive" in appearance.
They got all their testings on turf on this site.
If you are near a store like me, they have tons of free samples to give away.
I bought it myself from a dealer called Ewing and they recommended an installer for me.
I don't have any dogs, I can care less. I like the taller turf though.
Law of physics, I wouldn't even believe it if people tell me the artificial turf fibers can always standup perfectly all the time, just a matter of time.
I never pay attention to the lines if any: The real grass never looks perfect anyway, in my opinion, the "less" perfect look to a fake turf the better as you want to achieve the "natural" look.
I think it helps, so far I haven't had any negative comments on my artificial grass.
I don't think the turf installation on a slope would be a problem at all.
Not a good idea to drive on any plastic surface, the artificial turf is essentially plastic.
My HOA doesn't care about that and quite a few houses in my community with artificial grass. And they didn't even talk about it at the HOA meetings.
I think the U shaped is the best, just a personal opinion.
I did a little piece on my beat-up wood deck, easy.
