Aluminum Flag Cup Adds Quality and Style to Our Putting Green

Richfields California
Carlos

GST’s Aluminum Flag Cup added the perfect touch of authenticity to our backyard putting setup. The build quality is excellent-it feels sturdy, looks sharp, and hasn't rusted or discolored even after exposure to the elements. It fits perfectly into the turf cutout and gives our green a clean, finished appearance. Practicing at home now feels like being at a real golf course. This is a must-have if you want your putting green to feel official.

Is the Putt-60 Bicolor the highest quality putting green you offer?

I personally considered all our artificial putting greens are at the highest quality. However, the Putt-60BiColor is definitely the most thick/dense of them all. For applications that people won’t use much or no infills, this product will be the best choice. For most regular artificial putting green applications, our Pro Putt-44 and Putt-46BiColor work just as well and it is much easier to add infills onto these two products than the thicker version.

Between the aluminum and plastic golf cups, which would you recommend?

There is really not much of the difference between a plastic and aluminum golf cups when it comes to artificial putting green installations. The aluminum cup is more expensive and be more solid, however, it can get rusty from time to time; plastic cup is much cheaper but serve the purpose and can last a long time without issues. So it is more a budget and material preference when it comes to choose a golf cup, and we will recommend both from the functionality standpoint.
