S Blade 50 was the perfect addition to our office’s outdoor area. It gives the space a lush, inviting feel without the hassle of maintaining real grass. Clients and employees love spending time outside, and the turf has held up incredibly well despite heavy use. It was a smart investment for improving the overall aesthetics of our property.
This is a tough question, as we are very familiar with HOAs rules in state of California, but not necessarily all other HOAs throughout the the country. Most of HOAs are very strict with the front appearance of the houses in the community, and can be easy with backyards: so it will be a good idea for you to find out more detailed information and requirements from your HOA, and you can always feel free to send us those requirements at info!globalsynturf.com and we will be very happy to help you to provide necessary information and answer any questions from HOA. In cases that we have our service team in your area, we can even visit your HOA at their meetings to present our company and products.

Great question! This response will contain a lot of information, so let’s break it down into two sections, starting with the “clean” factor regarding different types of plastics. Hypothetically, let’s assume that the product was made of 100% recycled materials. Depending on how the materials are re-processed, post-consumer is usually the least “clean” when compared to virgin or actual plastic because of the variability of the feedstock. Even with blending, which adds overall strength, neither post-consumer nor post-industrial recycled materials can ever achieve 100% of mechanical properties of virgin materials. The degradation of these properties has a direct effect on safety factors and long term performance measures such as fatigue. This is not to say recycled plastics cannot be used in various applications, but does explain why recycled materials often have lower safety ratings. In other words, theoretically, you could have a 100% recycled material product. However, this product would never pass safety tests due to how weak the material would be. At GST, while we do care about the environment, safety is ALWAYS a top priority, as can be seen on our lead and UV testing results.

Our artificial grass is permeable to discharge pets’ urine very efficiently, solid waste can be picked up the same way as you would on natural grass. To deal with pet odors, we recommend couple of options: use zeolite infill products which will neutralize smells or use our pet deodorizer spraying on the turf to eliminate odors. No routine maintenance really required, if you use zeolite infills, deodorant spray will become less necessary, in most cases, simply water down will sufficient. I will suggest you to go with our Pet Turf: this product is engineered dog applications. It is very durable, the fibers are “U” shaped with great resilience; it is also short so make it easy to pick up the solids on it. The permeability is absolutely excellent with a drainage capacity up to 120 inches per hour! However, please be aware that the consistent digging still can damage the turf, all artificial grass products on today’s market are made of plastic materials, strong abuse will damage it. Also, you will need to train your dogs not to chew or eat the turf, even though our products are perfectly safe for dogs to play on, but they are not meant for being swallowed or eaten which can hurt your dogs.
