I was really happy, with the quality considering the price. It looks much like grass. There were a creases, in the turf at one end. They disappeared after I laid it out in the sun for an afternoon. The dimensions were exactly as described. I'm planning to create a green area in my backyard and will definitely purchase from this vendor again.

The cost of artificial grass and paver projects are very similar even though the materials cost can vary. The way of artificial grass being installed is very similar with that of pavers: excavation of soil ground, preparation of drainage base and compacted smooth surface, such installations require some hard labor along with bulk materials such as drain rocks and decomposed granites. Given such installation similarities, the cost of installing artificial grass and pavers can be compatible: Even though paver installations can take relatively longer as you need to lay them down piece by piece, but pavers won’t need other accessories such as seaming tape, glues, installation nails and infills which are needed for artificial grass installation.

Like anything else, artificial grass will expand and contract when temperature changes from cold to hot or vs, this is the law of physics. However, we do have solutions for that. When we manufacture our artificial turf products, we use two solid layer of primary backing materials which dramatically increase the stabilities of our products. At the installation stage, we require installers to anchor all the edges of the artificial lawn by using 5-7" nails, proper stretch out the grass during the installation, and put average of 2 lbs of infills per sq ft. Combinations of having products made with best stability and manufacturer required installation procedures will significantly minimize the expansions or contraction issues.

Yes, you can lay artificial grass on decking. If you are doing this because your decking is getting old, I would suggest you to make sure that your decking is structural sound. Once covered with artificial turf, you won't see the decking surface and you need to be cautious about it if your decking is getting old. Other than that, all you need is either the turf glue or nails to install the turf over decking. If you are dealing with a large decking area, I will recommend you to have professional installers to help out. Here are the links for our turf glue and nails, and please feel free to reach to us if you have any other questions:
