We use the exactly same yarns to make both SBlade-50 and SBlade-66 turf products and the differences are the faceweight and pile height: the Sbalde-66 is 16 oz heavier than the SBlade-50 and blades are bit higher on Sbalde-66. Quite frankly people won’t see much of the difference between these two artificial grass from a distance. It is only true when the blades of artificial grass gets too tall. Within 2” to 2-1/2” pile height top range, it is not necessarily the case that shorter blades will be standing up better, it more depends on how the fibers being engineered. All of our artificial grass products are with engineered blades which stands up really well regardless short or tall within while under 2-1/2”. Some of the turf might feel a bit stiff with shorter blades and softer at higher pile given the fact of how they were shaped. The yarns used for both U blade-80 and U blade-60 are identical, the main difference between these two turf products is the face weight, as the names indicate that one is 80 oz and one is 60 oz per square yard. Therefore, you will feel the U blade-80 is densier and fuller, and the U blade-80 has higher piles noticeably. Since more materials being used on U blade-80 turf, the cost is also a bit higher than U blade-60.
