The Perfect Green Wall for My Yard

Nance Arkansas
Connie

Super Ivy has made my backyard feel lush and private without any of the upkeep of live plants. The ivy looks incredibly realistic, adding a touch of nature to my fence. Installation was simple, and the results were instant. The best part is that it requires no maintenance-no watering, no trimming, just a beautiful green wall year-round. Even after months of exposure to the elements, the ivy still looks fresh and vibrant. It’s the perfect solution for anyone looking to add greenery without the work.

How do I install small pieces of turf on the wall?

It will depend on the type of wall you have. If you are installing the artificial grass on a regular interior wall with sheetrock, you can find the studs and simply nailing the turf on it. If you are installing the turf on a concrete wall or outside wall with stucco or bricks, you can either use anchors and nail or use glue to be easy. If you can email us with your wall picture along with the size of the artificial grass you want at [email protected], we will be able to help you better.

What accessories do I need to perfect my artificial putting green?

It is hard to miss all necessary accessories such as cups, flags and sometimes lights as they are normally part of your design. From the installation perspective, you would need to make sure to order infills which I recommend to use 2 lbs per square foot. Infills on artificial grass putting greens are very essential as it will hold the turf down to minimize expansions and contractions, eliminate wrinkles, and also help increase the speed and rolling consistency of the golf balls. Other than infills, you might also need edging materials such as bender board or Wonderedge along with nails to secure your putting greens’ edges. You can find the details of all these accessories on this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/catalog/supplies

How do I install turf on a wall?

It will be depending on the type of wall you are planing to install the artificial grass onto: if you are installing the turf onto a concrete wall outside, you will need to use concrete nails to secure the turf or drill anchors on the wall and attach the turf to the anchors. If you are installing the turf on a wooden wall, you can use nails with a bigger heads. If you are installing the turf on an interior wall with sheetrock, you will need to make sure finding the studs and nail the turf onto the studs. I will not recommend screws on turf as you will twist and tear out the primary backing, nails are always the preference.

Can this be mounted on a wall?

The answer is yes! Without knowing what kind of wall you have, I won't be able to offer more detailed suggestions on how to. If you have wooden walls, the hanging should be very easy as you can use nails, staples to secure the artificial grass onto the wall. If you have brick or concrete walls, the installation will become more challenging, you will need to have to put anchors into the walls before hanging the grass. It will also depend on the sizes of turf that you would like to hang, the bigger the piece the more difficult it gets.
