Turf Super Glue 29 oz Holds Strong Through All Conditions

I used GST’s Turf Super Glue 29 oz for a backyard install and was impressed by how quickly it bonded and how long it’s lasted. Even after exposure to extreme summer heat and a few heavy rains, the turf edges haven’t budged. It applied cleanly and saved me a ton of time during installation. This glue really delivers reliable, professional-grade results.

How does Global SynTurf's artificial grass react to extreme weather conditions like heavy rain, snow, and intense sunlight? Are there any special maintenance or care tips for these conditions?

Our artificial grass can withstand weathers well: cold weather or snow will make turf harder/stiffer and can be slippery, but won’t hurt the grass itself. Heavy rains will help to clean the turf surface and present no harm to the turf either. Extreme hot weather can heat up the turf surface but typically won’t damage the turf unless the temperature goes up to more than 200 F degrees. We recommend to be very cautious to use turf in extreme weather conditions, or to avoid usage in such conditions: this is just like using roads in icy or snowy condition, surface itself is ok but cautions required when driving or waking on it. And it is very rare that people will engage activities on any outdoor surfaces during extreme weather anyway and we haven’t experienced any complaints regarding our artificial grass in extreme weather conditions. How much turf glue do I need to apply?

You will probably only need the turf glues when seaming two pieces of artificial grass together for most common installations. Our turf glue comes in with 3 different packages: 28 oz tube, 1 gallon and 5 gallon buckets. For seaming purpose, a tube of turf glue will be able to cover a seam up to 12’ long, and one gallon glue can cover up to 40’ long of seams.

Is one 29 oz turf glue enough for 15x15 turf?

It will depend on where you will need the glue for your installation: if you are planing to glue the entire artificial grass piece of 15’x15’ on a solid surface, a 29 oz turf glue won’t be enough, you will need to get a gallon which is the next available pack size. If you are using the turf glue just for the seams, a tube of 29 oz turf glue will cover a seam length between 9’ and 12’. So for us to make accurate recommendations, please call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected] with your project details, thank you.

Secure Turf on concrete without ruining concrete with turf glue?

If you are installing the artificial grass permanently on your patio, the best way to go is gluing it down. The drawback is that glues will leave residues and marks on your patio concrete when you remove the turf. If you are not looking for a permanent installation, I will recommend you to use heavy duty double sided carpet tape: the tape might work out ok if you have a small area, but again, I am not sure about how long these tapes will last.
