This is a great question. Artificial grass products have different “dyelots” which means production batches. Even for the exact same product, there might be color variations from different dyelots: such color variations are very minimal but can be noticeable when two pieces of turf from different dyelots were to put next to each other. The same situation as carpet which also have different dyelot and same product from two different dyelot shouldn’t be installed next to each other unless people don’t mind the minor color/shade difference. In your particular case, if you order the turf 2 month apart, very likely the same product won’t be the same dyelot and I will recommend against it. Of course, you can always ask for the same dyelot to match your previous order but the availability of the same dyelot can’t be guaranteed.
