I am not sure I understand your question correctly. When it is dark at night, there won’t be any light reflections from the artificial grass. To further clarify your question, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected], thank you.

We haven't experienced any issues with slugs going on artificial grass. Overall, the artificial grass doesn't provide any living conditions for pest or slugs. Artificial turf is made of Polyethylene and Polypropylene, or plastic. Such products provide no living environment for slugs to live with. Even though artificial grass surfaces always have infills in them, the infills are either sands or mineral particles which don't provide living conditions for slugs either. So I don't think slugs will live on artificial grass surfaces.

Absolutely. Artificial grass will be a much better option for playgrounds. Playgrounds get used a lot and I will suggest you to discuss with us when selecting your product, my recommendation is always to go with artificial grass that is lower pile and more durable. More importantly, artificial grass surface needs to have meet certain fall ratings or in the industry's term: GMax. In order to achieve to certain fall ratings, you need to install padding underneath the grass: The pads come in different thicknesses, each thickness offers its own fall rating capacities. For an example, if you want to have a fall rating of 5' which means falling onto the surface from 5' won't get people hurt, the thickness of the pads needs to be 1-1/4", the higher the fall, the thicker of the pads needed.

No, artificial grass fibers won’t break in freezing weather conditions. Being plastic materials, turf fibers can be hardened when cold temperatures present, but it won’t be broken. We have a lot of products installed in cold weather states and Canada, have never received any feedbacks of fibers breaking off during cold winters. It would be a great idea to have artificial grass at cemeteries. We have our turf at a cemetery in the San Francisco Bay Area and it looks awesome. It cuts the maintenance by a great deal, and not to mention on water savings. The cemetery has bought extra several rolls of turf in the same dye lot, they store them, with the new buries, they provide an option for the family to choose with extra cost. Being the same dye lot, the grass matching up with each other, so the entire area looks very consistent. We have learned that most families have liked the artificial turf options, and they all have gone with turf. Most of the expenses at a cemetery is having crews maintaining the green look of the facility, once majority of the greens being replaced with fake grass, they can spare the crew for other works.
