You always want to use the smallest meshed infills on artificial putting greens. Our putting greens were tufted very tightly and leaves very minimal room for infills to go in, you will have an extremely hard time to brush bigger grain infills into it. We would recommend to use either #30 or #60 mesh infills for all our putting greens. Please feel free to contact us by phone: 877 796 8873 or email: [email protected] if you have any further questions, or you can fill out this online form to find the local distributors/dealers near you: https://www.globalsynturf.com/free-quote, thank you.

Since a density can refer to many different aspects of artificial grass, I would like just to emphasize on the stitch count to analyze and answer your question here. Depending on the faceweight and other specifications, each of our product has different stitch count. First, what is the stitch count?

It depends on the size of your area and application. If you are installing the artificial grass in a room, you can do the installation the same way as carpet: no need to use glue or nails, simply floating the turf and tuck the edges, or use pin nails as needed (not the long nails people used for outdoor installations), and you can always put paddings underneath the turf for extra cushioning. If you are installing the artificial grass as an indoor sport field or similar with at a large scale, I will recommend you to use turf glue for the best results. We offer free consultations on artificial grass products and installations, please call or email us at [email protected] for any further questions.

Normally you will need to use either 40D or 60D bright common or galvanized nails ranging from 5-7” in nail length for artificial turf installations outside as a real lawn replacement. However, in your case that you are trying to cover a chair with artificial grass, I won’t recommend theses types of nails. Instead I will suggest you to use either glues or heavy duty double sided carpet tapes or even regular staples. The regular type of nails for typical articulate grass installations would be too thick and too long for your particular project: to cover a chair with glues, all you will need is a 32 oz tube, here is the link for it:
