We installed GST’s Pet Turf last year, and it’s held up incredibly well to our three dogs. It drains quickly, doesn’t trap odor, and has eliminated the muddy messes we used to deal with constantly. Our dogs love lying on it, and we love not having to worry about upkeep. It still looks fresh and green no matter the weather. This turf has made our backyard enjoyable again.
Our turf products have excellent drainage capabilities which can handle a downpour of category 6 hurricane without a problem. It is also important to build your base properly in order to achieve the maximum of drainage capacity by following our installation guide. Many times, slopped ground will also help water to drain. It is difficult to tell without seeing the process and results of the installation. Turf installers might use different installation materials that available locally and alternate the process from our recommendations while still achieving the goals such as proper drainage. Infills are recommended for the purpose of helping to hold down the turf and minimize contractions and expansions. Your installer is correct that most of our turf are thick and fluffy enough to stand up well, though. Sometimes people skip using infills because of budget or for small areas. In any case, uneven surface seems more like an installation issue. For any further questions, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected], thank you.

There are really not much of major differences between these two series other than the profile of the fiber and the color. Functions and performances for both artificial grass series are very similar, so if it is up to me to make a choice for my back yard, I will go with the color I like better: Riviera Monterey series’s color is a bit lighter and vibrant; the SBlade series’s color is a bit darker and more mature. When choosing an artificial grass product, another tip I can offer is to find a color similar to the natural grass in your area so make your turf blend in much better with even the natural grass in your neighborhood.
