GST’s Silica Sand is the perfect infill for artificial turf. It provides stability, keeping the blades upright and ensuring the turf looks natural. The sand also helps with drainage, preventing water from pooling after rain. We’ve noticed that the turf looks more vibrant and holds its shape better since we added the sand. A must for any turf installation.

You will not use sand as a base for artificial grass installations. Sand is not solid enough to serve a good purpose for artificial turf. We always recommend to use couple inches of drain rock and couple of inches of finer materials such as decomposed granite to quarter minus which to be compacted and solid to provide a smooth surface for artificial grass to be laid on.
