Surprisingly Soft and Durable

We weren’t sure what to expect with Olive-51, but it’s exceeded every expectation. Our backyard has been completely transformed into a space that feels relaxing and welcoming. The turf is soft enough that my toddler can crawl on it without irritation, which was a big plus. I was concerned about how it would handle our dog’s play habits, but it’s been fantastic-no damage at all.
Installation was smooth, and we noticed a huge visual upgrade immediately. It looks far more realistic than the fake grass we used to have. There’s a nice variation of green tones that gives it dimension and life. The material feels high quality and stands up well to foot traffic. We’ve had guests compliment it during every visit. Definitely one of the best upgrades we’ve made to our home this year.

If I'm looking for durable turf, should I be looking for heavy weight?

Technically the answer is yes! This is the law of physics: the thicker (heavier) the material, the more durable. However we offer 15 year limited warranty on all our our products and even lower weight artificial grass offered by us can be just as durable and long lasting. The heavier turf will go well beyond the 15 years mark under normal weather and wear/tear up to 25 years, and lighter materials will be couple of years shy. Please feel free to contact us by phone, email or this online form if you have any further questions, thank you: https://www.globalsynturf.com/free-quote

Our HOA prohibits artificial grass installation. What should I do?

This is a tough question, as we are very familiar with HOAs rules in state of California, but not necessarily all other HOAs throughout the the country. Most of HOAs are very strict with the front appearance of the houses in the community, and can be easy with backyards: so it will be a good idea for you to find out more detailed information and requirements from your HOA, and you can always feel free to send us those requirements at info!globalsynturf.com and we will be very happy to help you to provide necessary information and answer any questions from HOA. In cases that we have our service team in your area, we can even visit your HOA at their meetings to present our company and products.

Will black walnuts ruin artificial grass?

The fibers of our artificial grass are not porous and the color is finished throughout so the black walnut won’t stain the turf. However, if you leave the walnuts for a long time period, they will make the turf surface messy which will require cleaning or rinsing. We will always recommend you to remove the walnuts on a regular basis to avoid long time messy build ups so you won’t have hard time to do the cleanings. Is this ACTUALLY environmentally friendly?

Great question! This response will contain a lot of information, so let’s break it down into two sections, starting with the “clean” factor regarding different types of plastics. Hypothetically, let’s assume that the product was made of 100% recycled materials. Depending on how the materials are re-processed, post-consumer is usually the least “clean” when compared to virgin or actual plastic because of the variability of the feedstock. Even with blending, which adds overall strength, neither post-consumer nor post-industrial recycled materials can ever achieve 100% of mechanical properties of virgin materials. The degradation of these properties has a direct effect on safety factors and long term performance measures such as fatigue. This is not to say recycled plastics cannot be used in various applications, but does explain why recycled materials often have lower safety ratings. In other words, theoretically, you could have a 100% recycled material product. However, this product would never pass safety tests due to how weak the material would be. At GST, while we do care about the environment, safety is ALWAYS a top priority, as can be seen on our lead and UV testing results.

How does GST artificial grass handle pet odors and waste, and what is the recommended cleaning routine to maintain hygiene and odor control

Our artificial grass is permeable to discharge pets’ urine very efficiently, solid waste can be picked up the same way as you would on natural grass. To deal with pet odors, we recommend couple of options: use zeolite infill products which will neutralize smells or use our pet deodorizer spraying on the turf to eliminate odors. No routine maintenance really required, if you use zeolite infills, deodorant spray will become less necessary, in most cases, simply water down will sufficient. For any further questions, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected], thank you!
