We wanted to add some privacy to our backyard, and Dutch Dark Hedge was the perfect solution. The artificial hedge looks incredibly realistic and blends in seamlessly with our natural plants. It provides the privacy we were looking for without the maintenance of a real hedge. No more trimming or worrying about pests-just a beautiful, green barrier that stays perfect year-round. We’re very happy with this addition to our yard.
I will personally recommend you to go with the longer and lusher artificial grass to achieve your goal of being as natural as possible. We have artificial turf products designed to be almost perfect replacement of real grass, the best representative is our Super Natural series, you can choose from either 80 oz or 60 oz version of it.

As far as I am aware that most of HOA won’t bother to regulate artificial grass installations. Some more restricted HOA might have some rules or regulations for your front yard landscaping, but I haven’t heard any cases that HOA regulate homeowners’ backyards. For state of California which is considered the most regulated among the entire nation, previous governor Jerry Brown has singed a las to prohibit HOA from restricting artificial grass installations. Artificial grass is considered as drought tolerant landscaping options, therefore it is encouraged to be installed with government rebates incentives. Similar incentive programs are also offered in many other states.

The fibers of our artificial grass are not porous and the color is finished throughout so the black walnut won’t stain the turf. However, if you leave the walnuts for a long time period, they will make the turf surface messy which will require cleaning or rinsing. We will always recommend you to remove the walnuts on a regular basis to avoid long time messy build ups so you won’t have hard time to do the cleanings. It is hard to miss all necessary accessories such as cups, flags and sometimes lights as they are normally part of your design. From the installation perspective, you would need to make sure to order infills which I recommend to use 2 lbs per square foot. Infills on artificial grass putting greens are very essential as it will hold the turf down to minimize expansions and contractions, eliminate wrinkles, and also help increase the speed and rolling consistency of the golf balls. Other than infills, you might also need edging materials such as bender board or Wonderedge along with nails to secure your putting greens’ edges. You can find the details of all these accessories on this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/catalog/supplies
