The preparation work for placing the artificial grass is lengthy but necessary for good results. Depending on the size of your project, you may need some help. I ordered 45' of artificial grass, and it weighed quite a lot. I had to cut the product in half to be able to handle it. However, the finished product is great and well worth the effort.
Our artificial grass is perfect for your dog run, it is safe, clean and requires minimum maintenance! The dog run areas normally is small, and I can't imagine dog owners to leave dog on dirt, or plant a small part of real grass for dog runs given the fact of water it and maintain it: You have your dogs on it after you water the real grass as when it is wet, it is muddy and messy; for such a small area, you still need to bring in your big lawn mower to cut the grass periodically: what a hassle! If you ever forgot to keep up with the grass, it will grow tall and messy making it so difficult to pick up dog's droppings. Artificial grass will eliminate all the above issues if you use it for dog run: you always have the green area for your dog, easy to clean and pick up dog's poos, and simply garden hose off when you need to really clean it. To get rid of smells, you can use vinegar or our Pet Deodorant that you can find on this link: https://www.globalsynturf.com/products/pet-odor-neutralizer

Technically you can install artificial grass all year long when it is not snowing or raining, even though it can be easier when the weather is sunny and warm. Artificial turf is made of polyethylene and polypropylene, the nature of such products (plastic) is it will reacts to temperature changes. When it is warm, the artificial grass will be softer and more “relaxed” which can make it easier to handle and install. During the winter month or cold weather, artificial grass can be a bit more “stubborn” and rigid to work with, but by no means you can’t install artificial grass in cold weather as long as it is not snowing: the fact is that the installation will be a bit more difficult. Even warm or hot temperature works the favor for articulations grass, but a more comfortable weather is still preferred for your installation crews to work properly. Certain desert areas the temperature can reach way over 100 degrees F, no one should be working outdoors under those extreme hot conditions.
