GST’s W Blade-60 turf has turned our backyard into a lush, green retreat. The turf looks and feels like natural grass, and it stays vibrant throughout all seasons without any watering or mowing. It’s soft enough for our kids to play on but tough enough to handle heavy foot traffic. The installation process was smooth, and the turf has exceeded our expectations in every way. We love how easy it is to care for, and our yard looks picture-perfect every day.

Which turf blade shape looks the most "realistic"?

The blade shape of artificial grass won’t be judged to be realistic or not, but the overall appearance of the turf will need to be as realistic as possible when it comes to the design and manufacturing of artificial grass. In general, artificial turf’s individual blades are smaller/narrower than a single strand of real grass, replicating individual blade to real grass is not an ideal approach and too costly. Our goal is to make the turf’s overall appearance and feel as close to real grass as possible. All of our turf products are as close to “real” as it can be, to name the most realistic one: our SuperNatural series which a product with multiple colored blades and different shapes. What is the biggest difference between the S blade 66 and S blade 50?

We use the exactly same yarns to make both SBlade-50 and SBlade-66 turf products and the differences are the faceweight and pile height: the Sbalde-66 is 16 oz heavier than the SBlade-50 and blades are bit higher on Sbalde-66. Quite frankly people won’t see much of the difference between these two artificial grass from a distance. Is there a big difference between the U blade 60 and U blade 80?

The yarns used for both U blade-80 and U blade-60 are identical, the main difference between these two turf products is the face weight, as the names indicate that one is 80 oz and one is 60 oz per square yard. Therefore, you will feel the U blade-80 is densier and fuller, and the U blade-80 has higher piles noticeably. Since more materials being used on U blade-80 turf, the cost is also a bit higher than U blade-60. If I'm looking for durable turf, should I be looking for heavy weight?

Technically the answer is yes! This is the law of physics: the thicker (heavier) the material, the more durable. However we offer 15 year limited warranty on all our our products and even lower weight artificial grass offered by us can be just as durable and long lasting. The heavier turf will go well beyond the 15 years mark under normal weather and wear/tear up to 25 years, and lighter materials will be couple of years shy.
