I thought it would have been a challenge to put artificial grass on my front yard given the fact of its big slope, but the installer did a great job with GST's Cashmere 70! I live in Fremont, California, and I personally like the soft turf and this Cashmere works! It is very tall and fluffy, yet extremely soft compared with other products on the market. Since I have it on my front yard with slope, not much of foot traffic if any at all, so I was told I don't have to worry much about the turf being lay down due to traffics, more just for the look. It took the installer about a week from start to finish which is in my opinion pretty quick. They took out my old lawn in a day, and have those big truckloads of gravels and stuff for the base, compacted and watered it before laying down the turf, I did't have them installed the weed barrier even they offered me that option though as I don't mind have some weeds if any to look even more natural for my lawn. Already receiving good comments from my neighbors and friends, my front yard now looks awesome, can't say enough how much I like it!
You can use any infills on our Cashmere turf knowingly that the purpose of infills are providing extra weight on the artificial grass to minimize expansions and contractions and also helping the turf to stand up better. Our Cashmere and Supernatural series are almost totally different type of artificial grass. They are very different from almost every specification, in general, Cashmere is a softer product, but Supernatural is more realistic. In my personal experiences, once both products installed and in a normal warn weather day, you will feel very similar softness. Technically you can install artificial grass all year long when it is not snowing or raining, even though it can be easier when the weather is sunny and warm. Artificial turf is made of polyethylene and polypropylene, the nature of such products (plastic) is it will reacts to temperature changes. When it is warm, the artificial grass will be softer and more “relaxed” which can make it easier to handle and install. During the winter month or cold weather, artificial grass can be a bit more “stubborn” and rigid to work with, but by no means you can’t install artificial grass in cold weather as long as it is not snowing: the fact is that the installation will be a bit more difficult. Even warm or hot temperature works the favor for articulations grass, but a more comfortable weather is still preferred for your installation crews to work properly. Certain desert areas the temperature can reach way over 100 degrees F, no one should be working outdoors under those extreme hot conditions.
