Riviera Monterey-50, you are a life-saver!

As an owner of a 15-year old pup, we used to buy fresh patch grass a month as he would always have a hard time walking on a wooden floor and slips on most surfaces due to his Luxating patella and back problems condition.

However, the grass would only work for two weeks or so and he could hardly keep his balance in a tiny little box especially now that he is remarkably older. So when we moved back to our apartment in Eastvale, CA after living in a house with a front yard for years, we have decided to invest in GST's Riviera Monterey-50 as it looks promising based on the reviews and recommendations I received.

We added zeolite infills during installation which took about 2 days, but it was worth it because he immediately LOVED it. He roams around it most of the day, naps out there, and has learned to pee and poo there after a few days. It's also really easy to clean because I was just throwing water on top and then it drains immediately. It saved us a lot of money and it's a perfect match for our furbaby!

All our products meet ASTM F 1951 standard. Since this standard normally based on particular projects, we don’t have the test certificate for all of our projects. Can you explain the different sizes of lawn pads?

When it comes to use lawn pads for artificial grass, the thickness of the lawn pads matters the most. In general, the main purposes for lawn pads are for cushions and fall ratings. Al lost all public facilities such are playgrounds and etc., there will be certain fall ratings requirements, from 5’ to 20’ which means kids won’t be hurt when falling onto the surface from such height. The lawn pads with thickness of between 3/4” and 2-1/4” will satisfy such requirements with single layer or stacked layers. For just cushioning purpose, any thickness of lawn pad will serve the purpose well, the general rule is the thicker the lawn pad, the more of cushions. By all said above, it is almost irrelevant for what kind of artificial grass you will choose, it is more of what thickness of the pads you will select to make the difference. Yes, our Riviera Monterey-50 can be used for indoor sports, please be aware that the longevity of all artificial grass used for sports either indoors or outdoors will depend on the usage time, more specifically how many hours per day and how many days a week. Obviously the longer and more frequent the turf being played on, the shorter lifespan of the turf.
