Will my kids be able to sit on the turf if it's over 100 degrees out?

Will the turf get extremely hot to the point where touching it is dangerous for kids?

It is definitely not a good idea to have kids outside when the temperature is at 100 degrees or higher, regardless on the artificial grass or not. I will assume your question is more of hypothetical for which the answer would be no. The ground surface and the artificial turf’s temperature can be much higher than 100 degrees if the air temperature is at 100 degree. In such hot days, with the help of Tcool infills and spray water, you can bring the turf’s temperature down by as much as 50 degrees which should be bearable for kids to be on it. However, again, it might not be a good idea to have the kid outside in such heat to start with.
