Artificial grass requires minimum maintenances if any, depending on the applications and usages. Typically for people’s front yards with minimum traffics or usages, you might not to do anything for years besides to remove leaves or debris from the lawn surface. Some heavy used areas, you might need to brush/rake up the fibers from time to time and adding some infills when needed.

Well, this is a very good question. The rain will definitely help cleaning up your artificial grass and more importantly, it won't get messy or muddy like real grass, the rain water will simply rinsing through your artificial turf and give it a "bath". However, I don't know how "clean" it will get as everyone's expectations can be different.

My personal experiences are that right after the rain, we can walk on it and the artificial grass looks and feels very clean to me, there still is some water and moistures trapped in the artificial grass, but not significant enough to bother me. Regardless, having the artificial grass to replace your real grass lawns in the rainy areas is a great idea and very practical as well!

The rain usually washes everything off
Interesting to know, will wait for it to rain and see if it is true.

Yes, artificial grass can be removed after installation. Depends on what kind of surfaces you are installing the artificial turf on, if it is a temporary installation, you won't need to build sub base, nor should you use any glues or infills. You can treat the turf as an area rug, which can be laid down and double sided tape them, and remove and pack them up after usage, and you can always resume them as well. Again, it will all depend on the sizes of your installation area. You can always feel free to reach us for more expert guidelines by phone or email.

It's a good thing that the artificial grass is also on the go with you.
It can be as long as it was installed temporarily.
My aunt used fake grass as a table runner in one of her parties. She is using the grass as a decoration every time she has a party in her house. It looks so good though.
Oh, I see. I can treat it like a rug or a carpet then.
Yeah, do not use any infills and anything that will make it hard for you to remove it if you know that you'll lay it temporarily.

Technically you can install artificial grass all year long when it is not snowing or raining, even though it can be easier when the weather is sunny and warm. Artificial turf is made of polyethylene and polypropylene, the nature of such products (plastic) is it will reacts to temperature changes. When it is warm, the artificial grass will be softer and more “relaxed” which can make it easier to handle and install. During the winter month or cold weather, artificial grass can be a bit more “stubborn” and rigid to work with, but by no means you can’t install artificial grass in cold weather as long as it is not snowing: the fact is that the installation will be a bit more difficult. Even warm or hot temperature works the favor for articulations grass, but a more comfortable weather is still preferred for your installation crews to work properly. Certain desert areas the temperature can reach way over 100 degrees F, no one should be working outdoors under those extreme hot conditions.

In summary, you can get your artificial grass installed pretty much any time you wish as long as it is not raining or snowing, ideally, if you can plan well, mild warm days with sun shine shall work out the best.

It is not advisable to install artificial grass during snow since snow will melt and may impact the stability of the sub base.
You might want to wait for summer to install artificial grass then, since warm climate will help your artificial grass be softer.

You will find it very easy to clean the artificial grass. If the wastes are solid, simply pick them up, if the wastes are liquids, using garden hose to rinse them off.

All artificial grass will get flattened given consistent heavy traffic and usage on it. Most of the fibers are more resilient and easier to brushed/raked up than other competitors.

Artificial grass rooftop installations are very common in states of east coast, and it has proven a great landscape option.

If you are allergic to airborne grass pollens, artificial grass will be your solution! Our artificial grass is not known of having any allergic concerns or at least we have not had any complains regarding artificial grass causing allergic problems for people or pet. The simply way of explaining this is that as long as you are not allergic to plastic, you wouldn't be allergic to artificial grass. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have further concerns by phone or email regarding this topic.

Yes, this is the solution for grass allergies but want to have grass in your backyard or front yard. Artificial grass is a big help in that problem.

Well, we don't make crumb rubber infills, nor we carry any crumb rubber products. We are the artificial grass manufacturer and not sure if and how crumb rubber infills is safe or harmful to be honest. We don't recommend to use crumb rubber infills unless independent testings been done to prove no harm.

As far as sport fields, I know that people are using crumb rubber for infills to achieve GMax fall ratings (to provide enough cushioning so to minimize the chances of people getting hurt while playing on the artificial grass surface). Up until now, crumb rubber is still widely used in the sports fields. Again, we don't recommend it for our turf unless projects are spec'ed with crumb rubber infill, we will require all the independent testings done on such products to go inside our artificial grass surface before approving it.

For all of residential and commercial landscape applications, we do not recommend crumb rubbers for our artificial grass. If people needs more cushioning for their artificial lawns, we will recommend to use shock pads or lawn pads instead, here is the link for our padding products:

I will not use this crumb rubber infill too. I heard shock pad is recommended for those who have kids and want to install artificial grass.
I'm not sure what a crumb rubber infill is and I have not heard about it ever. Maybe it's best to use the ones recommended by a lot of people since they've already used it?
I'm not sure crumb rubber infill is safe either. I didn't used that infill since my kids are always playing on the artificial grass.

That is an awesome idea! You can incorporate the stripes design with artificial grass, and the result will look fantastic. There are two ways to do this:

1. You can get the same artificial turf, and when installing them, you cut the stripes and lay them with the fiber facing opposite directions. The visual effect will be "stripes" when you laying the same turf this way. Or

2. You can use two totally different colored turf products to achieve the "stripes" effect due the color differences between the turf. One thing you need to keep in mind when choosing different artificial grass product is that you need to make sure the pile height of the chosen products to be the same.

thought of doing this wen I lay my new artificial turf but I had an idea of using the water filled roller which I brought to help level the ground roll one way whilst leaving the other brushed up I know it would be a temp job but for the times no one uses it would look smart. Do not want to cut individual stripes has suggested on top of this page. any thoughts I have brought 40m turf . Thanks
This is an amazing idea and I'll use it to decorate my wall!
The artificial grass in my daughter's school have stripes design and it looks great especially on top view.
I saw an artificial grass that has the stripes design and looks so beautiful.
I bet it will look like a masterpiece!
Why haven't I thought of that before I had my artificial grass installed? That sure sounds like a wonderful idea.
