There could be two reasons regarding your concern: we are not familiar with the particular infill you have used, however, the mesh of the infill might be a bit too big, we typically recommend to use #16 or #20 mesh infills. Secondly, for infill purpose, rake might not work well especially when the infill particles are big, a coarse push broom will work better, most of professional installers use power broom to get the job done. Honestly speaking, when the infills being applied onto the artificial grass surface properly, they will sink into the bottom of the turf and not visible, this is especially true for all regular artificial grass products.
