The carpets arrived neatly packaged and rolled making them easy to unwrap. The cost was quite fair, lower, than any place I looked. We place them on our patio to designate areas. One for a small table and chairs and another, for our large metal chicken sculpture.
It is not difficult to move an installed artificial grass from one spot to another, as long as you are aware of how the original installation was done: with nails along the edges and infills, and other details. Relocating artificial grass is very similar as removing and reinstalling carpet. If your original installation was done normally, the following steps will be my suggestions on how to relocate your artificial grass:

Generally speaking, artificial grass is fairly easy to install. However, depend on the size of your area, I will always recommend to have a professional installer to do the installation for you so things won’t go wrong. If you let installation doesn’t involve any seaming and you are able to excavate and handle bulk materials such drain rock and decomposed granite, you might be able to give it a try. It depends on the size of your installation. If you only need a small piece installed with a width not exceeding 15', you might be able to do it yourself. But artificial grass is more like carpet, installation of turf does require some experiences and skills. As far as I am aware that most of HOA won’t bother to regulate artificial grass installations. Some more restricted HOA might have some rules or regulations for your front yard landscaping, but I haven’t heard any cases that HOA regulate homeowners’ backyards. For state of California which is considered the most regulated among the entire nation, previous governor Jerry Brown has singed a las to prohibit HOA from restricting artificial grass installations. Artificial grass is considered as drought tolerant landscaping options, therefore it is encouraged to be installed with government rebates incentives. Similar incentive programs are also offered in many other states.
