Rushed Turf

I want to thank Global Syn Turf or rushing my artificial turf to me. I was under a very serious deadline to have my artificial turf installed for my house for a graduation party I was having. Right now my yard is all dirt and I could not have this party on the dirt. I begged and pleaded for my installer and Global Syn Turf to get this done on time and Global Syn Turf had to get a special delivery truck to bring the turf Penney on time which I did not mind paying the UPS charge but they did get it to me here. I want to see Global Syn Turf and the local installer here in my area for making this happen the party went very well and all my guests for happy.

How do I know if my Turf was installed correctly in my backyard?

It is difficult to tell without seeing the process and results of the installation. Turf installers might use different installation materials that available locally and alternate the process from our recommendations while still achieving the goals such as proper drainage. Infills are recommended for the purpose of helping to hold down the turf and minimize contractions and expansions. Your installer is correct that most of our turf are thick and fluffy enough to stand up well, though. Sometimes people skip using infills because of budget or for small areas. In any case, uneven surface seems more like an installation issue. For any further questions, please feel free to call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected], thank you.

How does syn-turf resist or retard fire?

Yes, we have our turf independent tested and passes all nine levels for fire retardant. We have test sheets available from the office staff. Our turf is installed at former Angels manager Mike Scioscia house, and it had melted but turf helped stop the house from going up.

How much turf glue do I need to apply?

You will probably only need the turf glues when seaming two pieces of artificial grass together for most common installations. Our turf glue comes in with 3 different packages: 28 oz tube, 1 gallon and 5 gallon buckets. For seaming purpose, a tube of turf glue will be able to cover a seam up to 12’ long, and one gallon glue can cover up to 40’ long of seams.

Is one 29 oz turf glue enough for 15x15 turf?

It will depend on where you will need the glue for your installation: if you are planing to glue the entire artificial grass piece of 15’x15’ on a solid surface, a 29 oz turf glue won’t be enough, you will need to get a gallon which is the next available pack size. If you are using the turf glue just for the seams, a tube of 29 oz turf glue will cover a seam length between 9’ and 12’. So for us to make accurate recommendations, please call us at 877 796 8873 or email us at [email protected] with your project details, thank you.
