It's specifically designed to prevent turf surfaces from overheating; it's a precoat applied to artificial grass sand infill activated by adding moisture. Tested, proved, and reliable, Global Syn-Turfs, TCool keeps the temperature of turf fibers down up to 50 degrees Farenheight.
TCool works on the evaporative cooling principle. The means that when sun rays hit the surface of synthetic turf, solar heat energy breaks hydrogen bonds preventing the surface temperature to rise until all moisture inside TCool particles have evaporated.
While applying water to synthetic grass fiber may have the effect of temporarily cooling your fake grass, artificial grass with TCool infill will be kept at lower temperatures way longer, effectively keeping it cool for three days after hydration.
PROPER INFILL DEPTH
Adequate infill level is critical to fiber performance and safety. We recommend you add 1/2 -1 lb. of Global Syn-Turf TCool infill per square foot for optimal cooling.
MAINTENANCE
The amount and frequency of care on your brand new synthetic turf landscape really depends on the surface condition, volume, and type of use. We recommend that you periodically groom and swipe the surface of your fake grass installation to remove unsightly litter and debris.
Keep in mind that infill does not break down, it often is just redistributed to other areas of the surface. Proper grooming helps even out the infill better than the addition of more infill.WHEN SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE HYDRATED?
As a general rule, the system (your artificial grass landscape) should be hydrated during periods of daily use every 3 to 4 days if there is no significant rainfall (¼ inches). This, of course, can vary depending on humidity and partial cloud cover. We recommend hydrating in the morning before the surface gets too hot. Typically this should be done before 10:00 a.m.
HOW MUCH SHOULD IT BE HYDRATED?
After T Cool is applied to the grass, hydrate the area until it is wet to the touch (roughly 1/4 inch of water). The granules will absorb the moisture. As a general rule, it takes 141 gallons of water for a 1,000 square foot area. That is the equivalent of ¼ inches of rain.

I’ve been installing artificial turf for years, and I’ve tried many different infills. TCool Infill is by far one of the best. The cooling properties make a noticeable difference, especially in hotter climates where turf can get uncomfortably warm. I used this infill for a small, 120 square foot artificial turf lawn. Per the instructions, I applied about 1 pound per square foot. Instead of using a drop spreader, I drilled about 100 or so 1/4" holes in the bottom of a bucket and let the sand infill sift out across the turf. This process took about 20 minutes to cover the entire lawn with 11 buckets of fill. I followed up by raking the infill into the turf, and it looks great.

I have tried multiple other spray products never got the odor out We put this product down and almost instantly the odor has been gone. I am so impressed. I highly recommend it.

I've tested sprays to get rid of the smell of urine on my artificial turf but none have been effective. However this infill worked away. Has made a significant improvement!
