What thickness of artificial grass is best?

I am debating on which turf to choose from, and wondering if you can let me know what is the best thickness I should go with.

It depends on how we rate the meaning of "Best". Here are my explanations:

1. If the "Best" means the most materials used and most expensive, we will recommend the thickest and tallest products, such products will definitely hold up better than thinner products, and give you the highest quality and reliability.

2. If the "Best" means the most realistic looking (or as close to natural grass as possible), my recommendation will be for products in the medium thickness range which is about 60-70 oz. on the face weight. The average face weight for natural grass is about 60 oz., so artificial grass with face weight in that range will give you the most realistic look, and you have a lot of color choices to find the closest match. Such mid-range products will also give the best value for your dollar.

3. If you prefer the thickness of the fibers instead of overall grass, the answer is easy: The thicker of a fiber, the better. We make fibers ranging from 150 microns to 320 microns. You might wonder why we won't make all products with thicker fibers, the trade-off is the softness. We need to balance the realistic look, the soft touch and cost factors at design and manufacturing. One thing you can be sure with that regardless of the thickness, our products will outlast any competitor's products out there as we have gone through vigorous testings and engineerings before we put any products on the market.

Something in the mid-range will last you a long time, you shouldn't worry about the longevity of the turf because of the thickness of the fiber: all our products come with 15 year warranty.
In my opinion, the thicker is better.
Very helpful information.
I think Sierra Super 94 is your best turf!
