Why are some companies just so much better than other companies. Some companies just seem to do things the right way, are very consistent and professional. Did I mention knowledgeable too. I found Global Syn Turf through a friend of a friend here in Albuquerque, NM who used Global Syn Turf's grass for an installation. They gave me their number and I called them and they answered on the very first call on my very first try. I spoke with a very nice person their named Karla and she said she would have a Sales Rep call me back. Laster that day just like she promised a Sales Rep named Dave called me and was so very helpful. He had been in the artificial turf industry for 20 years and had so much great information for me in regards to my yard and putting green I wanted installed. He too was a gopher and gave me lots of ideas and tips on installing a putting green in my yard. Like, not having seams and designing the putting green 15' or less since the rolls of turf come that size. He also told me to have the installer shape the green to give me up hill putts, down hill putts, left to right break putts and right to left break putts. He told me Global Syn Turf had a great distributor/installer in my area and would call him to make a personal introduction. See Global Syn Turf is a manufacturer, does not do installations and only sells turf through their dealer network. Dave introduced me to Ed in my area. Ed took great care of me, recommended the best turfs, designed a great putting green all for a reasonable price. I would like to thank Global Syn Turf, Karla, Dave and Ed for a job well done.

I want to thank Global Syn Turf for referring me to an artificial turf dealer here in El Paso, TX. I have searched high and low looking for someone who stocks artificial turf here in West Texas. Finally after so much research online I found Global Syn Turf. They told me they manufacture artificial grass, don't install or sell direct and have 10 distribution centers nationwide with thousands of artificial turf dealers throughout the country. They actually had 3 dealers in El Paso but only one of them stocked artificial turf. I told the dealer I just wanted to buy the turf because I was going to install it myself. I bought a 15' x 44' piece of the S Blade 50, 1 box of nails, 20 bags of sand infill, 59' of seam fabric, and 2 gallons of turf adhesive glue. The building supply store that stocked the artificial turf also sold me the crushed rock aggregate I needed to compact under the artificial turf. I want to thank Global Syn Turf and their network of friendly dealers for helping me with my project.

I wanted to get artificial turf for my yard but I did not want artificial turf that looked fake and shiny. I had many companies send me samples for my review and none were doing it for me. I heard from a friend of mine who has very beautiful artificial turf lawn. She said she bought it from a company called Global Syn Turf. I called Global Syn Turf and they sent me about 35 different samples to choose from. Apparently they are the manufacture and design and make all their own turfs. I tell you I absolutely fell in love with the Sierra Super 94. This grass is tall, realistic, not shiny, soft and lush. This is the type of grass I would let me kids roll around on not be concerned at all. It is so think that if my kids fell I think it would be softer than real grass. I did not know this but all artificial turf has holes punched in the backing for drainage. The artificial grass drains at an average of 30 inches an hour. Here in New Mexico we don't get a whole lot of rain, but when it rains it is like a typhoon. Global Syn Turf referred me the the best installer here in New Mexico named Ed. He and his crews took great care of me and installed my yard with such permission and skill. I want to thank Global Syn Turf and Ed for doing a great job in my yard.

I just love working with great companies that do way the say and stand behind their product. I filled out an online inquiry at Global Syn Turf.com and I kid you not someone called me in less than 10 minutes. The artificial turf distributor in New Mexico for Global Syn Turf called me and asked how he could help. I told him I wanted to see artificial turf samples and get a quote to have my backyard installed with turf. Literally the very next day he came by my house and was right on time. He brought large 2' x 2' pieces of turf samples which he said show much better than small pieces. We laid the artificial turf out in my backyard and we put them side by side in the sun. He took me through every methodical process to decide which piece I like best. He made me stand 15' back and look at all the turf. Then he made me walk around all the turf samples at least 15' away. Then he made me come walk on all the pieces of turf to feel what the feel like under my feet. Then he made me get down and feel all the turf and close my eyes so I really concentrated on the feel of the turf. This process was amazing because I felt I really got to know the turf. Then he wrote down on a piece of paper what the number one selling turf was and which turf was his personal favorite. Then he made me start to remove the samples of turf I did not like and end up with only two samples left. Once we got down to 2 samples each he told me to open the piece of paper where he wrote down the number one selling turf and his personal favorite. I could not believe that the two pieces of turf I chose were the two he wrote down on the paper. The number one seller is the SuperNatural 80 and his personal favorite was the All Natural 75. I ended up going with the number 1 seller the SuperNatural 80. I really enjoyed the process the professionalism and working with the New Mexico dealer.

When it comes to a playground application, what is the most important concern? Safety! We want our kids to play on the most safe surface possible when playing in a playground. Artificial grass installed over a proper base can provide an ASTM safety rating for fall heights up to 12 feet which is a standard natural grass never can achieve! A properly certified turf should also have a soft, consistent surface that is ADA accessible for easy wheelchair access. Since the grass wont displace like loose fill such as sand, rubber chips, or wood chips, the safety rating is easy to maintain at all times, even under play equipment. The synthetic grass on the market today provides an extremely natural appearance. Those who have seen the latest products are often surprised at how real it looks. Kids stay cleaner when they play on a synthetic grass surface. Theres no sand or other loose fill to get in the kids clothes, hair, eyes, or mouth. Some synthetic grass products are designed with built-in antimicrobial agents to help protect against bacteria and other microbes.
Artificial grass' unique longevity and low maintenance can fit almost all budgets of a playground project. Based on a joint survey by Los Angeles Times and Sacramento Bee, Synthetic grass for playgrounds lasts longer and usually costs less than pour-in-place surfaces. While pour-in-place generally needs repairs after about five years, the functional longevity of artificial grass is closer to eight years or more. Synthetic grass systems designed specifically for playgrounds can offer a warranty of up to eight years, with little noticeable fading even in extreme temperatures. Repairs on pour-in-place surfaces are often costly and unattractive. With synthetic grass, repairs are much less frequent, and when they are done they are virtually unnoticeable.
Global Syn-Turf is an exclusive artificial grass partner of San Francisco 49ers.
Synthetic turf is more durable than natural turf and can be used without the rest periods that natural turf requires to keep the turf healthy. The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) estimates that on an annual basis, permitted use (hours per year) for synthetic turf athletic fields is 28 percent higher than for natural grass fields. The maintenance costs of synthetic turf will vary depending on the field's use and design, but are typically estimated to be lower than the maintenance costs of natural turf. Natural turf requires regular mowing, fertilizer application, pest control and possibly watering. Synthetic turf requires replacing infill materials, repairing seams and removing weeds and moss. Specialized equipment, which may or may not be included in the field's purchase price, is required for these activities.
When it comes to the artificial grass fields installations, most of installers have been using crumb rubber along with silica sands as the main infills. The blades of sport field synthetic grass products are at least 2-1/4" tall which provide enough room for infills. The purpose of having infills in sport fields is to provide enough cushioning for the fields thus to reduce the risks of body injuries. Crumb rubber and sand mix can serve such purpose very well. Crumb rubber is produced by grinding used tires. Steel and fiber tire components are removed during the process and the rubber pellets are sorted by size. Pellet sizes ranging from about one-sixteenth to one-quarter inch in diameter are used on synthetic turf. Crumb rubber is typically applied at a rate of two to three pounds per square foot of field surface. Studies have been conducted by the California Environmental Protection Agency Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health to assess the potential for ingestion exposure to the chemicals in crumb rubber by children playing on synthetic turf. Both studies concluded that health risks to children resulting from the ingestion of crumb rubber are low.
However, there are still a lot people don't like the idea to use the crumb rubber in synthetic grass sport fields, it can get real hot to levels of discomfort, plus the rubber will get on people's body and travel on and off the field. Many parents have complained that their kids were covered with black rubbers after playing on the fields. Again, even though the available information on crumb rubber and crumb rubber infilled turf fields indicates that ingestion, dermal or inhalation exposures to chemicals in or released from crumb rubber do not pose a significant public health concern, leading synthetic grass companies such as Global Syn-Turf, Inc. has been working on new technologies and systems to get rid of the rubbers and take the synthetic grass sport fields applications to a new "All Green" level.

Most of artificial grass requires infills which to be installed onto the grass between blades to help the blades of grass stand up and also hold the turf down. It also protects the grass backing from ultraviolet rays which could eventually cause damage and void warranties. Some artificial grass infill options are ZeoFill, Green sand, Copper slag, Silica Sand and/or Rubber. Among all, ZeoFill is the #1 choice for synthetic turf infill for pet owners and playgrounds. Dog owners with artificial grass lawns have been struggled with urine smells for years.. Even though some leading turf manufacturers such as Global Syn-Turf, Inc. has made antimicrobial pet turf to resist the bacterial ammonia from adhering to the turf fibers, but regular infills would still hold ammonia urine resulting in a great deal of smell. Many people are trying to water down their turf once a week to get rid of the smell but never worked properly because water from a hose does not have enough force to push bacteria deep into the ground. ZeoFill is made out of a natural resource from the earth which is a negatively charged honey-combed molecular structure that absorbs the urine like a magnet and prevents the ammonia from forming a gas to become smelly. ZeoFill pulls any gases towards itself and hold it until sodium ion (Na) in rain water releases the magnetivity and the force of heavy rainfall will flush out the bacteria, forcing it through the turf into the ground making your turf virtually new again. The sodium forces the calcium ions out and recharges the ZeoFill when dry. However, ZeoFill will not remove bad bacteria. To remove bad bacteria, Global Syn-Turf, Inc. recommends nits very own Synthetic Grass Pet Odor Neutralizer, this enzyme products will not only neutralize the pet odor, but also remove bad bacteria and clean the turf, using this along with Zeofill will achieve the best possible results on pet's odor control!
To maximize the Benefits of ZeoFill, always install it on top of turf not under turf: When your dog urinates on the turf, the urine will instantly be consumed by the ZeoFill granules preventing ammonia bacteria particles from traveling through the turf. The ZeoFill granule will hold the ammonia water until it is cleaned with an enzyme solution or heavy rainwater flushes out the ZeoFill. The ZeoFill granules will be trapped inside the turf system and has a 5 year warranty on deterioration.
The thought of grass lawns being installed at a house' front and back yards originated from England where the weather is quite accommodating to grow and maintain natural grass. Here in particular states that are dry, such notion simply won't fly! In cities situated in desert regions for example Las Vegas, Nevada, Arizona and Phoenix, growing grass that is natural is nearly impossible. Artificial grass provides an ideal solution in such scenarios. As an industry, artificial grass is not that new, it has been around for more than five decades. Nevertheless, to the general public, synthetic grass appears very new. "What? Unnatural grass? Give me a break!" Actually? Fake grass, you say? Are you joking? Synthetic turf is moving beyond golf courses and football fields to become more common in home landscapes. When Steve Wallace of Santa Monica, California went for synthetic, he opted for longer blades and a darker green color a look he could never achieve with his natural lawn, which on 100-plus-degree summer days turned to dust, and on rainy days a mud pit. Tired of re-sodding twice a year not to mention the endless mowing and watering the 43-year-old homeowner was more than happy to plunk down $5,000 to see installers peel away his old lawn. Now, he says, two little children and his two dogs can romp and roll without tearing up the turf, or enduring the plastic rug burn of yore. And perhaps best of all is grassy it appears.
People have to go up close to it, he says, before they say, Wow, this isnt real.
Producers credit the new "you coulda fooled me" look to the marvels of science. Global Syn-Turf's Maronic, for one, tends to lapse into sportscar speak when describing the "combination of aesthetics and functionality" offered by the company's latest creation, a dense grass it calls Double W series, which comprises such space-age-sounding attributes as "Double W shaped blades" and "No-glow technology." The initial cost on artificial grass is higher than natural grass, but given the fact of most of synthetic grass will continue at least 8-10 years, such investment nonetheless makes lots of sense for most homeowners, especially those live in "desert cities".
In the last decade, artificial grass becomes a new fashion trend in the home improvement industry. It's growing aggressively across the country and specifically in Denver, Colorado. Maintaining a beautiful and healthy lawn in Denver presents an extreme challenge. Most landscaping companies offer programs that consist of at least four treatments per year that include fertilization, pre- and post-emergent weed control (including crabgrass), as well as fungus and insect control.
From West Slope to Denver, Colorado concerned about Lake Mead's water levels this is historically at a low point. It would not be enough for the population, and experts with the Colorado Water Conservation Board believe that the current water supply comes up short. Water conservation in an era of drought is seen as a solution for the many reticence of Denver city.
