I just wish there was a physical warehouse location closer to my company, that would make it 5/5 stars in my eyes instantly. I want to say I really enjoyed working with Global Syn Turf and their artificial turf dealer here in the Dallas, TX area. I first enjoyed the extensive and educational website Global Syn Turf has. I recommend anyone looking to install artificial turf review this website for information. The part I liked the most was the Questions and Answers section. I found answers to questions like. Is the Turf Groomer different from a normal rake? Will Roots be a issue if I install artificial turf? Does the Trainers Turf get the highest traction of all the turfs? How long does a bottle of pet odor neutralizer last? Will Pet Grass get rid of my dog's urge to roll around outside? Can Turf last an entire lifetime? How do I avoid bald spots from traffic on my artificial grass? Is the turf made in America? How long does it take to install artificial ivy? Does the face weight matter for a residential lawn? Will Pet Turf make potty training easier for my dog? What is special about the new Premium M Blade? Does GST sell drainage rock for the base? Where can I find a list of GST dealers nationwide? Can I pick up they artificial turf myself at one of the distribution centers or do I need to have it shipped? How long does it take for shipping to my home? Are there water rebates in my area for installing artificial turf? Will my artificial turf wrinkle if I don't apply infill? Does higher quality turf mean a rougher feel? Do artificial putting greens lose their smoothness overtime? These are just some of the questions and answers you will find on the website. There are literally hundreds more if you like to read these things. It really was educational for me to read these for my install.

I really want to thank Global Syn Turf and their very professional network of artificial turf dealers, especially in Dallas. This group of installers an installers of artificial turf and installers is fantastic. They gave us large piece of samples to lay in our backyard for 4 weeks so we could really study and understand the artificial turf sample we wanted. We clearly decided what turf we wanted and the jury is out, we went with the Sierra Super 94. Janice our designer from the dealer here in Dallas was fantastic. They really helped us decide what we wanted to do in the backyard and how e wanted to do it. We came up with an elaborate design of planters, plants, hardscape and artificial grass. Our yard looks so great and looks like we truly had a professional landscape design team put this project together. Thanks Global Syn Turf for your efforts.

I want to thanks Global Syn Turf for helping me find a artificial turf dealer here in Dallas. Global Syn Turf is a manufacturer of artificial turf and sells turf through their dealer network. They referred me to Stephen in Dallas and his team did the most amazing professional work I have ever seen. They showed me several different artificial turf samples and told me the pros and cons of each. I finally settled on the Super Natural 60 turf. This artificial grass has 6 different colors and looks so amazing and natural. Stephen and his crew told me step by step what would happen during the install and how long it would take. Of course on day one they showed up right on time and prepped the yard in order to not do damage to the property. They were so careful of not breaking or scratching anything. The first dug out my yard 4" deep and hauled the grass and dirt away one wheel barrow at a time to a dump truck that was parked out in front of the house. Then dump truck came and dropped off a large pile of crushed rock. The crew wheel barrowed all the rock to the backyard and graded it out smooth in place of the dirt they took out. The crowned the base just slightly so when it rained the water would run off on all sides. Once they compacted this they brought in the artificial turf and laid it in place and cut it into place. Then they nailed the turf and infilled the grass with the ZeoFill infill. This infill is supposed to absorb the odor of pet urine int he grass. I chose this infill because I have 2 dogs. Now that the grass is installed I am so happy and offer for anyone looking for artificial turf call Global Syn Turf.

Such base surface should be as level as possible with a slight grade for optimal drainage. "We all love our dogs, provide them with the best: low maintenance and long lasting artificial grass!" Backyard putting greens are fantastic way of bringing together friends and family to enjoy the outdoors. Its kind of like having a pool table. When you have people over, theres always something to do, says Richard Stoltz of New Mexico Synthetic Turf in Albuquerque, NM. I the past, people have been trying to install real grass putting greens in their backyards, turned out that no matter how hard you try, it is just impossible to maintain it! Today, most backyard putting greens are created with artificial turf, mounds, sand pits, and interesting shapes can be easily created and maintained. Artificial turf also has an even surface thats ideal for putting. Synthetic greens are virtually maintenance free. They're able to withstand hot or cold temperatures, as well as wet conditions, and are just about always ready for play.
A backyard putting green has such a great social element to it that youll use it a lot more if its close to patios or other entertaining areas. A flat one-hole putting green gets boring fast. However, if you make it challenging, friends and family will enjoy the putting green for years to come. Using a few undulations, mounds, a sand pit, and about three holes will help to keep it interesting and more playable. With the pressures of school, work, and other activities, oftentimes family members dont get home until after dark. Incorporate low-voltage landscape lighting into backyard putting greens to extend the number of hours each day that people can use it, in a nice mood.

Is artificial grass safe for children? A questions asked by many people who are considering synthetic grass for their houses. The answer is absolutely yes! More than 75 independent and credible studies from groups such as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and statewide governmental agencies such as the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, New York State Department of Health and the California Environmental Protection Agency, have validated the safety of synthetic turf (see Position Statements to learn more). For 40 years, under EPA oversight and OSHA-regulated manufacturing, not one person has ever reported ill effects related to any materials associated with synthetic turf.
In October 2010, the California Office of Environmental Assessment completed its multi-year study of air quality above crumb rubber infilled synthetic turf, and bacteria in the turf, and reported that there were no public health concerns.
In July 2010, the Connecticut Department of Public Health announced that a new study of the risks to children and adults playing on synthetic turf fields containing crumb rubber infill shows "no elevated health risks.
A December 2009 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency scoping study of the health risks from inhalation, ingestion, and dermal contact with synthetic turf and crumb rubber found every test result to be "below levels of concern.
The California EPA released a report dated July 2009 which indicated there is a negligible human health risk from inhaling the air above synthetic turf.
Independent tests conducted by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and New York State Department of Health, released in May 2009, proved there were no significant health concerns at synthetic turf fields.
In July 2008, a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission staff report approved the use of synthetic turf by children and people of all ages.
Global Syn-Turf is an exclusive artificial grass partner of San Francisco 49ers.
Artificial turf is more durable than normal grass and may be used with no relaxation durations that natural grass demands to keep the turf healthy. The New York City Division of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) estimates that annum, permitted use (hours per yr) for artificial turf sports fields is 28-percent greater than for grass areas that are organic. The maintenance prices of artificial grass may change based on the field's use and design, but are normally estimated to be lower than the upkeep costs of grass that is natural. Organic grass requires fertilizer application, regular cutting, insect control and perhaps sprinkling. Synthetic lawn demands replacing infill materials, repairing stitches and eliminating weeds. Specific equipment, which might or might not be a part of the purchase cost of the area, is required for these actions.
In regards to the artificial turf fields installments, most of installers happen to be using rubber as the primary infills together with silica sands. The blades of activity industry synthetic turf products are no less than 2-1/4" high which provide enough room for infills. Of having infills in sport areas the purpose is always to provide enough cushioning for the fields thus to reduce the dangers of human anatomy injuries. Sand mix and crumb rubber may serve such function well. Grinding wheels that were used produces crumb rubber. Fiber and metal fatigue components are eliminated throughout the procedure and size sorts the plastic pellets. Pellet dimensions starting from about one-sixteenth to one quarter inch in diameter are used on synthetic turf. Crumb rubber is commonly used at a rate of 2-3 pounds per square feet of area area. Both studies concluded that health dangers to children caused by the ingestion of crumb rubber are low.
But there continue to be a lot folks do not enjoy the notion to use the crumb rubber in synthetic grass sport fields, it can get real hot to degrees of distress, plus the rubber travel on and off the field and will get on people's physique. Several parents have complained their children were covered with black rubbers after enjoying on the fields. Again, even though the accessible advice on crumb rubber and crumb rubber in-filled turf fields suggests that ingestion, dermal or inhalation exposures to substances in or released from crumb rubber do not present a significant public health concern, leading artificial lawn businesses such as Global Syn-Turf, Inc. is working on new technologies and systems to eliminate rubbers and take the synthetic grass sport areas applications to a fresh "All-Green" degree.

To hold the turf down it requires infills to be installed onto the grass to help the blades of grass stand up. The grass backing is also protected by it from uv beams which may cause damage and void guarantees. Some artificial grass infill choices are ZeoFill, Green sand, Copper slag, Silica Sand and Rubber. Among all, ZeoFill is the option for synthetic turf infill for playgrounds and pet owners. Dog owners with artificial grass yards are fought with pee odors for years.. A lot of people want to water down their turf one time a week to remove the odor but never functioned correctly because water doesn't have sufficient power to shove bacteria deep into the earth. ZeoFill is made from a natural resource in the world which will be a negatively charged honeycombed molecular structure that prevents the ammonia from forming a gas and consumes the urine. Nevertheless, ZeoFill will not remove bacteria that are poor. To remove poor bacteria, Global Syn-Turf, Inc. urges nits really own Synthetic Grass Pet Odor Neutralizer, this enzyme products are not only going to neutralize the pet smell, but also remove poor bacteria and clean the turf, using this along with Zeofill will reach the perfect results on pet's scent control!
The ZeoFill granule will hold the ammonia water until it's cleaned out the ZeoFill with the enzyme solution or significant rainwater flushes. The ZeoFill granules will be trapped inside the turf system and contains a 5 year guarantee on deterioration.
The thought of grass lawns being installed at a house' front and back yards originated from England where the weather is quite accommodating to grow and maintain natural grass. Here in particular states that are dry, such notion simply won't fly! In cities situated in desert regions for example Las Vegas, Nevada, Arizona and Phoenix, growing grass that is natural is nearly impossible. Artificial grass provides an ideal solution in such scenarios. As an industry, artificial grass is not that new, it has been around for more than five decades. Nevertheless, to the general public, synthetic grass appears very new. "What? Unnatural grass? Give me a break!" Actually? Fake grass, you say? Are you joking? Synthetic turf is moving beyond golf courses and football fields to become more common in home landscapes. When Steve Wallace of Santa Monica, California went for synthetic, he opted for longer blades and a darker green color a look he could never achieve with his natural lawn, which on 100-plus-degree summer days turned to dust, and on rainy days a mud pit. Tired of re-sodding twice a year not to mention the endless mowing and watering the 43-year-old homeowner was more than happy to plunk down $5,000 to see installers peel away his old lawn. Now, he says, two little children and his two dogs can romp and roll without tearing up the turf, or enduring the plastic rug burn of yore. And perhaps best of all is grassy it appears.
People have to go up close to it, he says, before they say, Wow, this isnt real.
Producers credit the new "you coulda fooled me" look to the marvels of science. Global Syn-Turf's Maronic, for one, tends to lapse into sportscar speak when describing the "combination of aesthetics and functionality" offered by the company's latest creation, a dense grass it calls Double W series, which comprises such space-age-sounding attributes as "Double W shaped blades" and "No-glow technology." The initial cost on artificial grass is higher than natural grass, but given the fact of most of synthetic grass will continue at least 8-10 years, such investment nonetheless makes lots of sense for most homeowners, especially those live in "desert cities".
Thank you for your question.
