The water residue can build up on the surface of artificial blades and make your grass look whitish after a while: this is common especially you have water nearby the artificial turf, such as your sprinklers. The rain water normally won’t leave any marks on artificial grass.

Please keep in mind that the water is not “changing” your turf color, rather building up on the surface of it. Please let us know if you have any further questions by phone, email or this online form: https://www.globalsynturf.com/free-quote

Will dog pee alter/change the color of my artificial grass?

Artificial grass is made of polyethylene and polypropylene materials, and the fibers are not porous, so the dog urine won’t be absorbed into the fibers therefore turf won’t be discolored or faded by dog urine, there might be residues on the grass surface which can be easily rinsed off leaving the colors in good state.

How to provide water to a large tree surrounded by synthetic turf?

The understand dripping system is a great idea: you can have the pipe buried under the turf base with water pointing up into the base rack: water will travel upwards then spread down to minimize chances of “channels” being created to harm the integrity of ground/base support of turf. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any further questions, thank you.
