I have been shopping artificial grass companies and quality artificial turf. I made relentless telephone calls and did a lot of research online. I narrowed my choice down to 3 companies based on a list of qualifications. I was looking for a reputable company that had references and quality products. At the end of the day my choice was Global Syn Turf for their Flo-Rite-Thru Pet Turf Technology. The artificial turf is for my dog and I wanted the artificial turf to have superior drainage. Artificial Turf is labeled as low maintenance or no maintenance, however with Pets you need to provide frequent maintenance. First and foremost you need to use water to rinse the artificial turf to help flush any and all dog urine through the turf down to the natural soil. Secondly and equally important you need to use a enzyme based anti microbial anti bacterial Pet Deodorizer. Don't dilute the deodorize but spray it directly on the turf, don't skimp, let it soak for a few hours and then rinse very very well. If the odor smell still isn't gone then repeat the process.
